It isn't everyday that you get the opportunity to steal two chardonnays from the same winemaker who created two bright and crisp wines from the same juice, one spending its time in oak and the other in stainless. In fact, the odds of a storied winemaker, whose latest production received a score of 96 points producing such a lot and not having a home for all this wine...almost zero! Tasting Notes

The vibrant, but not overly done color of this wine lets you know it has spent some time in oak. The nose hints at summer apple and pear with a touch of floral. She boasts an elegant acidity and a smooth, but not over-the-top mouth feel. From first sip, it is obvious why this wine earned the coveted "reserve" label. Ready to drink now, this wine pairs well with chicken, fish, sand between your toes, and Sunday brunch at your favorite seaside villa.
