Our 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the same critically-acclaimed vineyard as our 2014 version, however, the final blend was a little different. Red wines grown in mountain vineyards are highly sought after for their intense flavors, firm tannins, and excellent aging potential. This wine, which is identical to the wine sold at the vineyard, sells for $185 per bottle.
The wine was bottled in July of 2018 after aging two years in new French oak.
This wine features an intoxicating nose of rich red fruits and subtle vanilla fruit and a palate dark chocolate, blackberries with a touch or pepper on the finish. The tannins suggest this wine will age gracefully for 20+ yrs.
